Working for A Million Ads

We are seeking a super star Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team and look after our media agency clients. This will be a busy role within a fast-paced environment where you will own relationships with media agencies, have responsibility for revenue retention, and manage multiple projects simultaneously - ensuring that they are delivered to brief, on time, and within budget. You’ll be reporting into the Head of Commercial Partnerships.

You will have worked for either a creative tech company, video, digital audio, programmatic media vendor or digital media agency in a client-facing role and be confident handling media agencies and have established relationships in the industry. You will possess an in-depth understanding of the digital tech advertising ecosystem and the ability to communicate this to your clients effectively - making the complicated simple. You also need to have strong broadcast and/or digital mid-level agency contacts (AV planners + buyers up to Manager/Director level). You will have great communication and project management skills as well as a willingness to get involved with everything from pitching to clients and developing new ideas, to working with the technical team scoping the next product feature or dashboard widget.

Role activities

●      Retain and help generate revenue by selling in dynamic audio creative campaigns to media agencies

●      Have and continue to build long-lasting relationships with agencies and maintain a high profile within agency broadcast/digital departments

●      Be the day-to-day point of contact for our agency clients, managing their revenue, accounts and processes from pitch stage through to post campaign analysis and billing

●      Succeed in achieving quarterly/annual revenue goals

●      Work closely with all teams within A Million Ads to deliver the client projects, including creative, engineering, product and operations

●      Become a power user of the A Million Ads dynamic creative ad platform

●      Input into the development of the product, in close collaboration with the product team

●      Keep abreast of developments in the industry, including competitive assessment and identifying new revenue opportunities

Experience required

●      2-3 year experience working for a video or digital audio media vendor, programmatic DSP, digital adserver, creative tech company, media agency in a client-facing, digital role

●      Experience to manage client accounts and revenue retention

●      Experience presenting to clients campaign findings and performance (PCA etc)

●      Understand the digital tech and programmatic advertising sector

●      Revenue generating experience including exceeding in hitting quarterly and annual revenue targets

●      Experience and enthusiasm for technology and digital advertising platforms

●      Inquisitive, self-starter approach, comfortable in small teams and a start-up environment
